About her: Kerry Juhl is the Director of Consumer Insights at Cereal Partners Worldwide (CPW), a long-standing joint venture between General Mills and Nestle, since 1990. CPW, the maker of Nestlé Breakfast Cereals, is a leading global breakfast cereal company which offers 50 household favourites such as, NESQUIK®, FITNESS®, CHEERIOS® and CHOCAPIC®. CPW serves 37 million bowls of cereal each day and has one purpose, to Make Breakfast Better. In her role, Kerry and her team work in markets across the globe, to understand consumers’ needs, motivations and perceptions regarding the breakfast occasion, so that CPW can work to address those needs with their portfolio of cereal brands. Because whole grain is a differentiating attribute of Nestle Breakfast Cereals, Kerry has spent time to understand consumers’ perceptions of whole grain, and how to best communicate the benefits of whole grain through brand marketing. Kerry has worked in consumer insights at CPW and General Mills for 20 years (10 of those in the cereal category) and has a Business Marketing degree from the University of Alaska. She currently resides in Lausanne, Switzerland.
